FOREST TRAIL

2006.09.11

This trail, name unknown to us, follows a drainage near Kachina Village, south of Flagstaff, AZ. The trail crosses the normally dry stream bed several times, and lodged debris show that the stream runs two or three feet deep during heavy thunderstorms. We believe this portion of the trail begins off forest road 237, but we’re not 100% sure about that. We sorta wander around, and when we find a trail, we try it out.... The trail is mostly shady under a canopy of Ponderosa pines.

Try the Slideshow. The slides look like they are resting on a black reflective table. Really cool.
